Federation of the Finnish Media Industries partner in Tivit Oy
The Federation of the Finnish Media Industries is a partner in Tivit Oy that was established in spring 2008 to coordinate the centre for research in the information and media industry.
The centre has 17 companies and 19 public organisations as partners. The representative of the Federation of the Finnish Media Industries is a deputy member of the Board of Directors of the coordinating company.
The centre has agreed on the research strategy and is currently preparing the related research programmes and projects .
Evolving media as a research target
The four research programmes of the centre are
• Flexible Service Ecosystem
• Future Internet
• Cooperative Traffic ICT
• Devices and Interoperability Ecosystem.
One of the research topics in the Flexible Service Ecosystem programme is Evolving Media, that is divided into three projects:
• Broadcasting systems
• Participation Media
• Cross Media Publishing.
